Bandages

Time really does heal everything. Although in the moment everything feels like crap, you can't see the rainbow after the storm or the light at the end of the tunnel is blocked... I promise you, one day you are going to look back on everything and you're not only going to be free of the hurt and pain, you're also going to see how far you've come and how much you've grown. It's so weird how one event, one moment can change your whole life course. In the event I had in mind I thought this was it, this was going to be something lifelong but as they say...

When one door closes, another one opens. I was very lucky that when this particular door closed another one opened up quickly. Actually quite a few opened up in the form of new friends and deeper connections with existing ones. That definitely wouldn't have happened if that door didn't close as I would not have invested the effort and time.

As hurtful and painful it was, I am so grateful that this event happened. The new doors that have opened up for me, the many things I learnt about myself (both the good and the bad) and my dreams and hopes for the future. Irreplaceable things that have been given to me thanks to this storm and darkness I experienced. I guess you can say that manifesting really does work. 

If you're reading this and are going through a really tough time, I have faith and hope for you that things will get better eventually. Yes, time does heal everything but nothing will change if you don't put in the effort to make things change. 

Think, reflect, learn and let go. That and time is the only way the storm clouds will run away and the light at the end of the tunnel will appear.
